Thirty-one students were hired by our Corporate Work Study Program partners to work throughout the Christmas break. That is a significant increase compared to last year when 10 students were hired and “demonstrates the vital role and value our students have at the companies they work for,” said Hugo Chavez, Managing Director for the program.
At W.W. Grainger in Lake Forest, CRSM students are involved in a substantial project with the IT team to bring the computer system into compliance with human resources regulations. “They call our students part of their team,” said Hugo. “Our students’ work is taking a lot off the plates of the IT team and is bringing real good value to the company.”
