CRSM Celebrates Martin Luther King Jr.

On January 21st, CRSM honored Dr. King’s life and his mission of spreading God’s dream for us with an all-school prayer service.  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is a wonderful example of using our voices to seek justice for all humans and highlighted the importance of seeing one another as brothers and sisters.

Pierre Edmonds (Dean of Students), an ordained minister and pastor of Eternal Flame A.M.E. Church in North Chicago, led the service in the tradition of the African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church.  He was accompanied by a guest pastor, Rev. Fredrick Wilson from the Temple of Glory International in Chicago.

The worship service was a beautiful way to honor the life of Dr. King and celebrate the diversity of the CRSM student body and staff.   See highlights from the celebration here.
