CRSM Celebrates Earth Day, Living Green

From “Living Green: Steps to Greening Your Life,” and the “Local Food: Food System Chain Game,” to “Environmental Justice In Waukegan Recycling Fashion,” and “Faith and Environmental Stewardship,” CRSM students, faculty and staff celebrated Earth Day April 2, 2015 with an afternoon of presentations and conversations focused on these green topics.

The afternoon of events was planned and sponsored by CRSM’s Environmental Club.

Representatives from W.W. Grainger, the University of Wisconsin/Parkside, Loyola University’s Institute of Environmental Sustainability, Lake Forest Open Lands and the Little Village Environmental Justice Organization generously donated their time to lead the discussions.

Workshop topics also included: “Green Buildings,” “Faith and Environmental Stewardship,” “Living Green: Steps to Greening Your Life,” “Green Business: Benefits, Challenges and Decisions,” “Education for the Earth,” “Sustainability and Sustainable Management,” and “Recycling Fashion.”
