On May 2, CRSM honored our high school seniors as they donned T-shirts proclaiming the colleges they will be attending: Northwestern University (three students), Middlebury, Tufts, University of Notre Dame, Providence, and Santa Clara are all among the colleges students will be headed to next fall.
Ninety-seven percent of the seniors have been accepted to four-year colleges and they have been awarded almost $42 million in scholarships, up from $25.7 million last year.
Other colleges and universities include: Brandies, Dominican, University of Illinois Chicago, Catholic University of America, Marian, Lake Forest College, Loyola University Chicago and Southern and Western Illinois universities.
With 90 students, the Class of 2018 is among the largest to graduate. These acceptances speak volumes about the success CRSM has had in meeting its goal to get students to and through college. Fifty-eight percent the Class of 2013 has already earned a bachelor’s degree. CRSM’s goal is to have 70% of grads complete college degrees by 2020, and they are well on their way to reaching that goal.
