CRSM is saying goodbye to its Assistant Director of Campus Ministry, Daisy Morales. Ms. Morales is a graduate of Cristo Rey St. Martin. She recently received her Masters in Counseling and will be working as a therapist in an alternative school. She will be working with children, including many that are processing trauma. During her fellowship, she will also be doing research and certification work.
When asked if she had any favorite memories about her four years at CRSM, Ms. Morales said,
“Not a particular event really. What does stand out is the privilege of teaching underclassmen and then working
with them as Juniors and Seniors during retreats. I got to watch them discover who they were, and what they
stand for. Watching that self-discovery is…well, let’s just say…I’ll miss it.”
“Daisy has been an integral part of campus ministry and the spiritual life of the school over the last four years, helping students to grow more deeply as people of prayer and people for others. She came in as a first year teacher and first year campus minister with the class of 2020 when they were freshmen and has journeyed with them in the classroom, on retreats and in service to the community. We wish her and her family all the best as she begins a new part of her career in the field of school counseling.”
