It was a night of shared college and work experiences, a chance for almost 60 CRSM alumni, teachers and staff to gather and hear about CRSM graduates’ experiences in and beyond college.
“It is so great to see you all these evening and to gather together as a family,” Preston Kendall, president told the crowd gathered at Fatman Bowl in Lake Bluff. “It’s so great to be reunited and to catch up. We are all so proud of you.”
Kendall shared with the alumni, some who came from colleges as far away as Virginia, that the enrollment is now at 390 students and expected to rise to over 400 next fall, saying that Cristo Rey St. Martin had now become one of the top schools in the Cristo Rey Network.
“You have cleared a path for all these students to come after you and you have gone out into the world carrying the traditions of St. Martin that you have created. We welcome you back. You are family and we hope you always will stay in touch. We are here to be a resource for you and to support you throughout your life.”
